Our History
After 20 years of working in the cleaning industry, Rick saw that the area needed a dependable, locally owned commercial cleaning company. With the help of his then fiancée, Pam, the vision for Appalachian Restoration & Cleaning was born.
Rick & Pam jumped in feet first, working from their garage, leaving their jobs to devote their time and energy to meeting potential clients during the day, and then cleaning every night. Their tireless dedication led them to be able to move into a warehouse with office space in just 9 months. A few years later, an opportunity arose that led them to expand into restoration work, around that same time, they were able to purchase our current office, followed shortly by the building of the warehouse. What started as a small, family-run operation quickly grew into a trusted name in the community.
More than 20 years later, that same family foundation is still at the heart of everything we do. When an emergency arises, we’re a short response time away, even outside normal business hours.

Our restoration technicians follow IICRC protocols to ensure your home is safely restored after water, sewage, soot, smoke, or mold damage, and our cleaning technicians take pride in keeping local businesses looking their best.
